Alter Ego de Palmer 2020 is the other great expression of the prestigious Château Palmer, a third-growth Grand Cru Classé of Margaux. Made from a blend of 50% cabernet sauvignon, 46% merlot and 4% petit verdot, it offers a softer, more generous and immediately accessible interpretation of the estate's terroir.
Unlike a traditional second wine, Alter Ego de Palmer is not simply made from the grapes set aside from the grand vin. It is crafted according to its own philosophy, from selected plots, to favour fruit, freshness and softness of texture.

Colour
A deep, intense red colour with dark highlights.
Nose
The bouquet reveals a rich aromatic palette, dominated by blackberry and black cherry. Floral notes of violet and rose petal complete the picture, together with delicate spicy and slightly minty nuances.
Palate
The attack is ample, fleshy and velvety. Powdery, silky tannins bring a particularly elegant texture, while the characteristic freshness of Margaux gives the wine a remarkable balance. The finish is long, airy and expressive.
Alter Ego de Palmer 2020 is a refined and seductive wine, already pleasant in its youth, but also with excellent ageing potential.
